i dont want to be a burden, but how would it look for 2 vol and 1 tone(the 2 vol kind of acting as a swtich?)and also what about the braids?is it simply twisting the two wires together?
wow man big big thanks just a few questions..you have the two white cables soldered on top of the volume pot and then a prong it looks like but then they come out with only one to the jack, how do i do this(do i just group them together?)and when you say solder to both cap and prong do i just simply run the wire over the prong and onto the case and solder all that?
sorry if this has been posted alot before, but i finally got my emgs for my custom and looking at the wiring diagram i am easily confused..i just want it very simple(1 vol 1 tone)is there a diff in pots(like for vol and tone?)and also on the emg wiring diagram they show 1 vol 1 tone but for only 1 pickup..how do i double this?
well you could always buy a sd hot rail pick up(humbucker inside a single coil)or a really hight out put single coil if you dont want to hack into the strat, but it think it can be done, but you will need to buy a SSH pickguard...
So i was looking around ebay and came up on a seller guitarfetish who sells guitar parts for pretty good prices, but they arent brand names..so to you when you make a custom how important to you is having that 'grover' or 'gotoh' on your tuning head and having a shiny tonepro's bridge?or could you care less and save some money?

so what do you do?just take a wire and attach it to the bridge?also i look at diagrams and their are four wires but i see on most pickups its just 1, it is just later on split into 4?sorry for the newb questions, just trying to learn
well Autocad is the best i use it in shop(voc. school)but i belive it costs some $$ not sure...but you can goto www.guitarbuild.com they have two cad programs there, try them out
