  3. According to Perry (rhodes56) the intonated length is never shorter than the scale length, so put all the saddles as far forward as you can and measure from there.

  14. it would be better to finish it with something because, if i'm not mistaken, bare wood is more prone to warping. someone else may know better though, so wait for more answers

  16. Ywngie Malmsteens sig. strat which has a maple fingerboard is entirely scalloped, so I don't see why it wouldn't work with ebony.
  17. Superstrats are made more for fast playing a la Satriani, Vai and Petrucci. They are usually a bit pointier, have faster necks, and usually hum-sing-sing or hum-sing-hum pickup configuration.
