    if i put a breed i the neck and an evo in the bridge would the evo be a lot louder because of its high output . what im trying to say is "would it be balanced"

    i actually use them a good amount and i've scalloped up to the 12th fret so i want to be able to make use of that. (i don't reallylike doing exta work unless its helpful ) i would take off about asmuch as is taken off of a Jem AANJ.

    i refinishing the guitar btw. but i was just wonderin if theneck would have enough wood in the neck pocket to stick to. Isn't the pocket on set necks really deep in?

    if you did, couldn't you make the neckjoint more like an all access neck joint, so you could reach the upper frets better

    it might have enn, im not sue how old it was what mterial do you use? yeah i was planning on using a router for the pickup holes and that stuff... darn...everything im doin requires a scroll saw... oh well

    hey, i was wondering what material is used for making clear pickguards. i tried plexiglass cause it was avaible at home, but it cracked, to my disgust... maybe i shouldn't have used a jigsaw... thanks

    i do believe that your right. again, PG has a tutorial on how to convert a RG neck joint to a JEM AANJ, but that may not be what you are looking for... i may just do that to the guitar im building... i hate standard neck joints.

    theres a tutorial for making decals in the PGtutorial section(Project Guitar has stuff other than a forum!!???!!??) , i dunno if thats what your lookin for , i don't remember where it is though.

    thanks everyone, my friend has a squire and he's getting a new guitar (becuse the squires nut broke and some other stuff)... he said i could have the guitar, i was thinking of modifying it, but i wasn't sure if it was worth the trouble. General opinion is that squires suck, but yeah. and as for the wood, i thought it was a lower grade of the wood Fender uses, but i wasn't sure. thanks
