  1. Depending on what browser and display settings you are using... For me it had to be at least double the size. A Free, Open Source viewer/editor for svg and what I use for drawing up templates is Inkscape.
  2. Would you mind posting schematics for the Treble Booster?
  3. A Variax 700 has the pickup-less look. I'm currently designing a semi hollow bass for a friend that will be pickup-less from the front. I plan on using a piezo, however.
  4. The tut fryovanni mentioned is actually linked to from the main site. http://schrammguitars.com/buzz.html
  5. I'm reworking it a little, tweaking things a bit... I have an f-hole figured out now... Actually the image I have stored vectorized so I can blow it up to any size. I just had it that big so it would print nicely. I am uploading a smaller one with the f-hole now. Same place as the old one but not as big... Also I tried lengthening the horn but I don't like it as much... here...
  6. I'm currently toying with the idea of doing a semi-hollow fretless bass with a similar design but without the lower left point... WARNING HUGE! I am thinking an f-hole too, but I wasn't a fan of the classic style f hole on the modern body... I am at the moment working on a new design.
  7. If you have a low fret, then a solution is lowering the high frets, however that isn't as ideal as refretting the low one. If there is a low fret, then the fret above it will be high. In theory.
  8. I would recommend owning a fret buzz finder. It is a simple device used for finding the source of a fret buzz. Alligator clip (Optional) Wire - Battery - LED (mind polarity) or small DC light bulb - wire Clip or tape one end to the buzzing string. Pluck the string where it buzzes and move the other end along the frets until the light blinks with the buzzing. This is the source of the buzz. Lightly sand until buzzing goes away. Commercial versions of this are available, too. Google.
