  5. Notice how uncentered the whole thing os? I reshaped the body to look more symetrical, and finishing will commence within a month. Kinda taking my time now. I did the black and am getting ready to sand it As for not scrapping it, there is an explanation. I would never forgive myself if I didnt at least try my best to make it work. The quality of woods, I've been kicking myself for what I did since I realized how horrible it looked. It will be a fixed bridge BTW. Got a nice burst done from cans on that, and thew tele is done. I'll post a few pics before long.
  6. Did you totally miss these THREE links? I meant of your texas tele.
  7. Whether he has the money or not, doesn't matter. If you think he's full of BS, don't post. If you think it's simply a cry for attention, don't post. If you think he's for real, post something positive. When was the last time you learned something through negativity? Is this really that hard, or is everyone just that pissed off? (Cam- I'm not anyone's hero.) From here and on in that thread, and the bad advice thread. Sometimes the most helpful thing hurts, but a mature human can accept criticism, even if they pussyfoot around for a few weeks.
  8. 24 fret, 25" scale, purpleheart. Its got a small crack, ans needs leveling. Thats as close as I think you'll come. BTW, I'm not interested in selling it because it is cracked and not well built. Hence why I scrapped it.
  9. having "baby luthiers" is a good thing, isn't it? is that not the point? to teach people how to build guitars? You completely missed the point. And browsing Gilmer with a quote post window doesnt help for propt posting
  10. EVH wolfgangs, EBMM Axis, Ibanez RG/Jem, Charvel (evh, san dimas), Hell, everybody uses it.
  11. measurements can be gotten off the manufacturers site
  12. um, yeah, but it needs attention. $30 shipped.
  13. No way. Neil will have my head for even suggesting it
  14. Who is in the tutorial? My 2 favorite guitars ever http://images.cardomain.com/member_images/...9/417925_12.jpg http://fullservesite.com//lcgs/Carrie/JET_cald179_550.jpg
  15. Yep. Before you hit "Add Reply", re-read what you just typed and ask youself if you're being helpful and offering the best of your knowledge. If you are, then great. We'll all take it in. If you're not, then edit your post or simply don't reply. It's a pretty simple setup. Sometimes the most helpful thing to say also isnt the nicest.
  16. its a normal kahler 2300 with a different mounying mechanism.
  17. Ok we can say hell, ass (also preceeded by jack), and damn (including all it's derivitives exluding preceeded by God, for religeuos reasons).
  18. there is a tutorial on the main site on that.
  19. its wired exactly the same as a switch. A push pull pot is a pot and a switch in one.
