    yeah, I hear the word ozzfest and I tune out. After sabbith I started to think ozzy turned into a dumbass. I like the stuff he did in the few years after, but... it started to go down hill IMO

    Woodworking, and finishing. the woodworking is what really makes the guitar, and finishing makes it pritty (and protects and adds sound if you want to get into it). Finishes can be sanded off and redone if needed, but shaping a guitar can not be undone if you make a mistake.

    Hey, the way I do them on my bass is: put your finger on the note that you want to play (with the left hand) and fret it (unlike open chord harmonics). Then with your right hand put your thumb on the same note one octave down on the same string. (this means 12 frets down) and with your thumb on that note use your index finger to pull and release the string (kinnda hit it) and if you do it it looks kinnda like a pinching motion.

    Ive often thought about doing a checker board inlay on a body. the glue dosnt really affect it THAT much. Its not very noticable

    I may already have a burnt copy of that, what songs are on it? If I dont have it, sounds like a good deal to me. Of course I couldnt grow out of Ozzy! Ive got 4 of his cds backed up on my computer, and I plan on getting a CD burner in a month or so. same with nirvana

    Most people say that claro walnut is more tonally fit for a guitar. its also more expensive (imagiain that) This site has lots of GREAT walnut and it also has discriptions of the differences in walnuts. good luck with it -Dylan

    would the titebond join be suffencent on a oily wood (such as bocote) on a scarf join? if not, how would somone go about removing it, and re gluing it properly hypothetically speeking of course

    I dont like the way teles look. but of course, If done properly I would like them. I like some of the hotrod teles on allparts coustom shop website.

    What is on my mind: -At first, I was upset about lockin down the rant section.. I liked that place alot. -I am also kind of upset that the cursing is out the window, but I can understand why it was done. -I am upset that vets cant bite into noobs asking dumb questions and giving dumb advice. I got my nuts put over a frying pan for giving bad advice, and I learned from it. BUT - Im happy that post count is going away, I just wish we could comeup with somthing we can all agree on. -Im also happy that "I wont have to go through 10 pages of junk to find the radius of a chrome hubcap for a 1972 pento hatchback" Everything has pros, and cons. Putting up a fuss about every damn thing will not get anything done.

    ooh, thier was this beutiful one made out of aluminium I saw a few days ago. Im looking for the link, but I cant find it. Ill keep at it for 5 or so miunets, then give up.

    Hey, Im gettin rid of a couple of old cds ive grown out of. Ozzy- blizzard of ozz Ozzy- The ozzman commeth The Darkness- thier new cd IggyPop - beat em up Iggypop- Live Sex Pistols- nevermind the bollocks Stiff little fingers- Nobodys hero Greenday- dookie Rancid- Lets go Rancid- life wont wait Descendents- Milo goes to collage Nirvana- In utero Nirvana- Bleach Nirvana- Lithium/been a son/crumdungen japineese import I take care of all of my cds, so thier all in great condition. I will also trade. I would love to get my hands on some Doors, zeppelin, jazz, jeff beck, clapton.. stuff like that. If no one wants any of these than thier on thier way to EBAY once I become a seller.

    so you just put old cloths ontop of the board, and steam over that? And will the expanding of the frets cause the FB to bow? or is there so little that it dosnt make a difference. PS, litch.. I have that same rock city hat
