    Yeah, we replaced the head. I'm thinking about polishing the frets, anybody know a good compound?? Ours is black, and I don't think it's been repainted. Thanks for the link, should come in handy.

    Wow, that's really cool man. What kinda paint did you use for the glow?? I think that'd be cool for a logo or something that glows.

    Thanks for the response, I've never done a banjo before. Do they glue the bridge down, or do the strings hold it down??

    Okay, I'm fixing up an old harmony banjo for a friend, and now all it needs is a bridge. We've got the bridge, but I don't know what scale the banjo is. It's a 5 string if that help..

    Okay, stop posting your drawings in in progress or finished work. It's NOT in progress. And if you build that, good luck playing it without breaking off all those tips. But other than that, I think it's really cool and you should go for it if that's your thing.

    I need 1 white piece at least 1 1/2" X 1 1/2" X .05 And a different colored piece, blue, purple, doesn't matter 1" X 1" If anybody has this, I'd appreciate it. I'm also looking for a gibson type ebony fingerboard.

    You're doing your neck through just how I'm gonna do mine in December. Complete the neck, then glue the wings on. Neck thru's kinda get a bad rap cause alot of people think you have to have the neck glued to the body to do the neck, but it's just not true. Looks amazing for your first one, just incredible.

    Hey, hold on. Gibson tops are 1/2" right?? And they're binding is 1/4" They leave the sides natural sometimes, so how do they get it just right?? Like, an inch around the edges they plane to 1/4" and then just even it out or something??

    Dude, if you want an amp get a combo. Those solid state half stacks are for kids who want to feel bad, but all you're getting is a combo that takes up too much room, is harder to move. Just save up a little more, and get a second hand tube half stack. You won't feel like an idiot down the road, like if you were to get that....

    Yeah we have an Ace here. I think I'll either do what you said, or try to find some nickel silver sheets. Does anybody know where they are, I can only find the wire??
