  1. Batteries suck man, I've bought a 1ampere adapter and that's enoug for about 200 pedals. I've got an daisy chain (Ibanez splitter cord) so I can use it for all my effects. (well, I only have 2 distortions and a phaser )
  2. The deathvipper is cool! It looks like some kind of weapon! It's right now winning in the polls.
  3. That would actually be nice, with one turn on a knob you can give treble, mid or the bass a boost. It isn't that easy to change a pedalEQ's setting while playing!
  4. I saw a Bassman a few days ago in a local musicsture and I saw that it has 2 (hi & lo gain I guess) inputs for a 'bassinstrument' and 2 inputs for a 'normal instrument', each with it's own knobs. Maybe it first was a bassamp, then guitarists started converting it like Scott said, and then Fender start making the amps for bass and guitar. What's the difference between the bass and 'normal' section on the amp?
  5. I have placed both the pickup before the replies were post and I've wired the red wire up to the volumepot and the white wire to the switch. I wasn't able to play very loud but my first impressions where very good actually... But, when I touched the screws to adjust the pickupheight, of one of the singlecoils when they were switched on, I heard a hum like when you touch the guitarcable plug. So now I have to change the wires and ground the damn things?
  6. Can a mod please place this topic in Electronics?
  7. Hello, I've got 2 secondhand gold Fender Lace Sensors and I want to replace them with my 2 single coil. (I've got s-s-h) Now, the single coils which are in my guitar right now have the following cables: neck: yellow>switch black>volumepot middle: white>switch black>volumepot The new Sensors both have red and white cable. Can somebody tell me which cable has to go where? Photo's: Golden Fender Lace Sensors pickups: Bottom of pickguard: Cable on the switch and volumepot: It would realy suck If I've soldered everything and then I find and it's all wrong... I can't wait to go wild with them! Thanks!!!
  8. Hi, Just curious...by why not have a new pickguard cut for you (or cut it yourself?). By the time you get done buying the paints and the sandpaper and all, you'll have spent just as much... I think the red pickguard on the black guitar is a great idea, by the way...you going to paint the pickups too? mickey Hmm, I don't know if that looks very good. I think I first just paint the pickguard. And maybe I'll paint the knobs later!
  9. Have you got a photo of that guitar from the top?
  10. Thank you, man!! I've asked the same question on a Dutch site and the dude told my exactly the same, but not about the coat. But thats probably so that I don't scratch all the paint of it? I'm gonna buy the stuff tomorow! And I'm gonna buy 2 gold Fender Lace Sensors! My guitar will look and sound like new!! EDIT: btw, have you got a picture of that guitar from above?
  11. Hello, I've got a black Ibanez GRX40 and I would like to paint the pickguard red. How am I gonna do that? How do I prepare the pickguard, so the paint will last. (I don't want to scratch everything of in the first week!) What kind of paint do I need? Thanks!!
