    Chrome ftw. IMO gold matches warm colors best and while white is color neutral, i think of it as a cool color, thus, chrome wins.

    I hope you're staying out of trouble macnut Sometimes all a guitar needs is a different badge... HAHAHA... We debadge "emblems" to make the car's look cleaner... havent tried a VIN plate yet!

    If it is 2s foam tape, try fishing line... Wrap it around two sticks then clothesline the fishing line between the badge and the headstock and slowly pull and "cut" through the tape. Cleanup remains with goo gone. It works with debadging cars.

    What exactly is a varitone and what does it do? Can it be used with an active pickup like the SD blackouts? TIA
