  3. I was thinking of working from the top...as in sawing frets first, would that work? EDIT: forgot to add that im not good at re-fretting...and would like to save time.

  5. I just got my fretboard for my current guitar and there is a slight problem...Its too wide any ideas on how to cut it down to size without de-fretting?

  13. Yes, it is literally a trapazoid. the cross section would be a 4 sided polygon. The back of the neck consists of 3 faces. All of them completly flat, with just a tiny round over on the edges. Apart from the radius on the fret board there are no curved surfaces. Thanks i might try this for my build this summer

  17. Hmmm...ok...what brand of truss do you recommend? Stewmac's hotrods seem to be pretty good...
  18. Would no truss rod be ok on a padouk/wenge neck? If not would a carbon fiber rod be sufficent?
