  1. Nothing more that the same, another Supro Lap copy, but a black one!
  2. Think in do it by hand, but I want to find a easier way to do. I think to use the Dremel I use corel draw to do the constrution plans.
  3. This project it´s programed to begin at end of june, its a lespaul with body an headstock of an F5 Gibson Mandolin. Body: mohogany Neck: mahogany Top: Flamed Maple Fingerboard: Brasilian Rosewood Bridge: Kahler 7300 Tuners: Sperzel Pickups: Seymour Duncan P-Rails + Roland GK-3 Midi system Finish: Dark Purple Burst ( in study ) I´ll put binding on top of the body, fingerboard and headstock, so my big question it´s how to cut the binding chanels at the "voluta". Now I begin my researches to do that, any help its wellcome! Seeya!!
  4. I think that isn´t a waste too, Paul show that will reuse the scraps in other projects. I´ll do the same, in case the one single piece neck/body was needed ( if the owner want that way ), imho a neck through project with body wings, give to the guitar the same sound properties that one single piece. But any way nice job till here.... keep looking!! seeya!
  5. Dam how I love PRS arch top! well done work!
  6. In fact they are clamps to glue bodies sides, but are very usefull to glue tops too! Not so beauteful but it works fine!
  7. Awesome Scott! I love the body shape kinda LP/PRS. About love/hate constructions steps that folks are saying, IMHO all steps have a good and a bad part, my step prefered is neck shaping/arch toping.
  8. I din´t trace from a photo, I use an old and out of scale ( samller ) draw that I find in the internet.
  9. Like the topic name says an unusual lespaul finish, blue burst. Body: mahogany Neck: mahogany Finger: ebony Top: maple Pickups: SD phat cat Bridge: wilkinson roller TOM Tremolo: Bigsby Tuners: schaler
  10. Another Lespaul, Gibson Slash´s signature based Body: mahogany Neck: mahogany Finger: rosewood Top: maple Pickups: SD slash sginature Hardware: wilkinson
  11. I´m not molesting anybody, I gues! keke
  12. Patents are applied here in Brasil, some bigger factories had some trouble with it. But I still thinking that I a drop of water into the gibson ocean. I thinking in change the LesPaul Model Logo, to AlesPaul model, this is ridiculous (kekeekekek) but original if you think that my name is Alessander. (of couse I´ll not do this keke )
  13. After the rasps I use a stripe of fabric sand ( of my belt sander ) to begin a fine shape.
  14. Paul thanks for the coments!!! I really get your point, about the Les Paul, and I agree with then but de customer want it this way, even I insist in not to do. I think Gibson will not be interested in my few lespauls / year, but if so it will be a major victory for anyone who has a small shop like me.
  15. well, after a couple weeks of hardw work and not any new pictures here, I´m back. I had to refinish the top, the owner think that the first finish was to dark, so all top finish removed and done again. The guitar it´s almost finish, it´s wired and sounds great, just need to put the covers ( switch, pots and trus rod ) and a very nice clean!
  16. I love it!!! Awesome there are no words!!! GOTM alredy have a winner!!!
  17. Finished! The white paint wasn´t so good than I expected, but the final result looks nice and sounds exclent, IMHO!
