  1. god thats sweet! im lovin those 31 frets, what did you use to get the measurements for that, im wanting a 27 fret neck so i would like to know!
  2. scott hang on to that for me, i might just get it from ya! still looking at a few other options, but im pretty sure you will be rid of that midi controller soon!
  3. what kind of setup are you using with it?
  4. i dont see what the problem with using pots with the same resistance value would mess it up? im no electrical smarty but i dont think that would mess it up. btw, one of my friends took a ds-1 and put it in his washburn, he just gutted it and stuffed it into his guitar basically, no problems there, but thats very simple circuit as it is....now he wants to put a whammy into another guitar
  5. i finally got my psa-1 yesterday and it screams with my mosvalve poweramp and 75w celestions!!!...but i have a monster problem, i dont want to shuffle through 23 presets just to get from my clean to my rhythm and all, so i need to get a midi pedal, as well as being able to hook up my intellifex to my guitar rig, what im looking for is the voodoo labs ground control system or something very similar, if anybody has one please pm me here or email me @ goth_fiend2003@yahoo.com thanks guys!
  6. nobody knows where to get tolex and grill cloth?
  7. alrighty guys, i need a little help here, what do i need to do to build my combo amp? is it just like a normal speaker cab with more space on top to accomadate the power/pre combo or is it more involved then that? also i know some of you have worked with tolex so i need to know what i will need to cover this baby up in that, not sure what color i want yet but im thinking either red or silver with a black powdercoated diamond plate faceplate. btw if anybodies intrested the setup for this amp is a tubeworks mv-962m, tech 21 psa-1 and 2 celestion g12t 1oo's wired in true stereo, should be pretty killer!
  8. how much would you like for it?!!!! thats my dream axe!!!!
  9. what they said, and from what i can tell its a weird one, bolt on with a floyd, so it cant be a custom shop (from what i have heard rich refuses to make bolt on customs...go figure) probably a phase switch and coiltaps
  10. it would definatly help to know what type of warlock you have, im thinking either a usa model or a custom shop because i have never seen a import with anthing other then vol, tone, vol, switch, and thats 'bout it, let me know the model and i can tell you what you got.
  11. well, if its acyrlic you can see right thru it, i dont know if normal paint will stick to acrylic though, stainless steel for a pickguard would be awesome though!
  12. very caparison influenced headstock, i love that guitar man! i would have put the blood wood as a top though not the maple, but damn!!!! what color hardware you putting into it?
  13. if you build that you'd better have a damn good chiropractor cause thats gonna be heavy as hell!
  14. well i would have to say either jackson guitars or mcs, probably mcs though simply because i could gut ya with one www.mosercustomshop.com
  15. i will take that litchfield, you got pm
  16. im going to have to build a coffin case for the anihilator, thats not gonna be fun....
  17. o.g. floyd it is then, i wonder if i can get one with a black base and chrome saddles..
  18. i would only use titebond on that for the matter that gorilla glue foams up and makes a huge mess, also if you didnt have it clamped well enough i would be concerned it would shift in the pocket and then your screwed.
  19. if i remember right, koa is very close to mahogany tone wise, and from what i know bc rich used to make custom shop guitars throughout the 70's and 80's out of solid koa for neckthrus.
  20. ummm you guys...can you help me lift my jaw off the floor? thats one awesome axe, guitar of the month material for sure.
  21. kewl, keep us posted!, i might still take a piece of that quilt though...
  22. well im about ready to start building the neck and assembling my anihilator guitar, but i would like to have a few questions answered, first, right now i have a trs floyd by ibanez and i was going to put it in the guitar, but i dont have the bushings for it, and im not sure i want it in my guitar, but if i routed for a original floyd rose would it fit? if not should i get a o.g. floyd? thanks guys also this is just to confirm, scale length is measured from the back of the nut/ begining of fretboard, to the 12th fret right? or is it just from nut to bridge saddles?
  23. if you dont do a neck angle with that, your going to have your action about a 1/2 inch of the fretboard, do you like that idea? but in order to make a neckthru with a angle you have to calculate the angle first off, on a 25 1/2" scale i believe its a 5/8" drop at the 16th fret, but can anybody confirm this? also its extremly imortant to have a full sized drawing when building a neckthru for reference and measurements, better safe then sorry.
