  2. no i'm not stealing it....my friend is breaking the licensing laws not me *looks shifty*
  3. i think the kind of keyboard i've been using a college is the same...but does it have a midi patch selector slider...like a slider with the numbers 1-127(? or similar)?
  4. yes...a push to break switch...i've seen them in pretty much every electronics shop...they usually cost less than £1 and you just wire it in line with the output...its only got two things coming out of it so its pretty simple to do.
  5. cheers alex. i'll look into keyboards...btw...your 2nd hand keyboard...how may keys (is it standard or mini)?
  6. hey, one of my friends is (theoretically-"legal clause" ) copying me CubaseSX...i was wondering if MIDI keyboards just plug straight in the back of my PC and not through another piece of equipment...also does anyone know any basic, cheap MIDI Keyboards that i can get in the UK? Ta Ver Much Dan

  9. hey...does anyone know where i can get a decent baritone guitar for less than £400 in england...don't want to pay customs fees. thanx dan
  10. you can buy it here... http://www.intasound.com/proaudio/index.as...?department=261 its an english website. good luck and try not to get electrocuted in the process!
  11. i personally got a boss BR532...for about £300 which is cheap its got four tracks for recording onto with a maximum of 8 takes for each track..so you can pick which sounds better with the rest..also it has many drum tracks, which you can cut up and stick together to make your own and of course it has the wonderful COSM effects...i just plug it straight into my stereo.
  12. i voted for the iceman....its the same as the destroyer but with a different body(same spec.) and the destroyer has the lowest action ever and i great for the price.
  13. thanx all, strangley enough after i wrote this post i went to my room for a one man jam (no masturbation jokes please) and i was also picking up french radio....could it be something to do with static in the air as there does feel like there is going to be a storm????
  14. one important thing i forget to mention....this also occurs when he goes from guitar to multi-effects and then straight to headphones (with no amp in the equation)
  15. OK, a friend of mine has a Yamaha guitar(HSS Config.),which goes into a Zoom Multi-effect pedal and then into a shitty Stagg amp. Even with the volume on the guitar turned all the way to zero he keeps on picking up the BBC Asian Network Radio Station on his guitar, is it the multi effect? HOw can the problem be solved?!?!?!??!
  16. i was wondering if it was at all possible to install an effect pedal into a guitar... would you just stick it just before the output inside the guitar or am i overlooking something???? its just that i think that this would be really cool!
  17. yoink to that guy....thank god for copy and paste!!!!!!
  18. its here... stripping and here painting tut. and for the paint try halfords, hobby craft or a mail order craft suppliers.
  19. all of the information needed can be found on the main site hope that helps ps. paint in the uk....most craft spray paints will work but you will have to use many, many layers...just read the tutorials on the main site....decide what you want to paint it with and go look in a hardware or craft shop. i personally have used plastikote spray paint ....cheap..many colours and i bought that from a craft shop. just remember to use very thin coats.
  20. no cool hints..but just straightforward instructions... (if the bridge has no screws(which it probably won't) With the normal type of glued joint between bridge and soundboard, you simply work away at breaking the joint with a thin, pliable table knife. Ease the knife under the bridge and lever it off completely. of course you will have to chip awway fora while before you lever it off. hope that helped dan (aka weezerboy)
  21. unless where you live has the same temperature and humity all of the year round (which i doubt) then you should really have one so that you can adjust the neck throughout all of these changes.
  22. i have an ibanez dtx-120 (the destroyer) mmmmm matt black with black h/ware...my fave guitar ever....except for my squier strat!?!?!?!?!
  23. does anyone know where there are any alternative trem ideas on the net,eg.strange arms????needed for research.
  24. just got the ibanez back and there isn't a great deal of difference but there is some kind of change, it doesn't help that the minimum requirements of the device is 8kilo ohms and my pickups are 7.5kilo ohms. but from what i've heard it doesn't really work anyway, but at least my guitar tech was impressed, but then again he is a stoner with one eye! + one last thing if the output of the pickup was about 15kilo ohms would it work a lot better? ps. just started a-level music tech and boy is that fun!! plus i got my GCSE results and i got 9 GCSE's!!!
  25. i've also just recieved them and am going to get someone else to install them as my cavity is crowded....does it matter which way round they go?
