    Hey I think there are so many because they are so ergonomic, great looking and most people like them, so they will sell well. its a shame that the custom guitar market is driven by money, but hey, thats life. MAtt

    Hey guys and gals, I want to build a neck thru with a neck made from mahogany and bubinga. My problem is that the bubinga is only 24 inches long. My question is, do all the lamnations in a neckthru ACTUALLY have to go thru the body. maybe i need an example: Its the Signature model of Mike Mushok. Notice how only the centre lamination from the neck goes thru the body. or thats what it looks like anyway. just wondering if this is plausable to do, or if i should find some longer wood. Any suggestions accepted! Thanx Matt

    Hey guys I found a place that sells Spruce cheaply. I know that a lot of companies (Taylor, Martin, Yamaha etc) Use this for their acoustic guitars (mostly on Classic/Spanish guitars, espcially Santos Martinez) but i was wondering if it is every used in solid BODIES. I know (well, im guessing) its not strong enough for a neck, but i was hoping to use for wings on my neck-thru, and a body for my Jaguar. anyway, thanks in advance! Matt

    Are you sure about the SG lefty? On the page it says that right or left handed bodies are the same price, so I'd guess that you can get a left handed one. I might be wrong of course, if you have cotacted Warmoth and they have said no. Matt

    Just what i was thinking, more powerful than a lot of 'buckers, great Dirty sound and clean, OMG it is a beautiful sound. Rock, blues and even metal jump out of it, these are going into my first strat. Any way, back to Sam's thing: They should be more or less perfect for what you want, and if you dont like em, I'll take em off of your hands Matt

    IIRC, holy grails are Lace's yeah? Well, Dave Gilmour of pink floyd (One of the greatest players, imho) went from his Laces over to EMG SA's and still got a great gutsy sound out of them, that I m guessin will be just as good for blues! And Rock sounds will just roll out of it, again listen to gilmours work on Pulse. Any way, toodle pipp! Matt
