not really shure..but i was thinking of something like 15 - 70. more or less. i can of course use a normal guitar bridge, but i want a little bit (not much) wider spacing.
i have built one baritone with walnut body and wenge/ebony neck. Sounds great! ..and its lovely to work with. Use a good mask..i have heard some bad things about walnut dust.

Im not shure if i see the need of locking tuners on a bass..but anyway, Guitarwhorkshop (Oslo, Norway) used to have locking tuners on their basses, during the eighties. I belive the had the patent as well. Unfortunately GW do not exist anymore.
Im building a walnut guitar. do i have to use grain filler? I dont mind having the pores there and im only going to give it a couple of layers of clear ..something..for protection. Will not using filler affect the tone of the guitar...?
Does anyone know why Fender makes sooo many holes in the neck cavity on their guitars? I thought they where only to be found on Squires, but even on my 3000$ strat there are 3 holes that doesent seem to have any function at all...

You should check out what youre favorit bass players use..you may not sound (you should not like em anyway, but that would be the best reference point i think.
There is no right or wrong ..Steve Harris use a p-bass with flatwound strings..! Does that sound like the bass to choose for the "biggest" metal bass player in the world?
Im thinking of installing one of the emg eq systems on my bass. I have the p/j emg set on. Does this eq system actually add something to the pups...? or can i do the same thing on my amp?

The trem is not old so i belive its in good condition. the strings i have on it now is..4 days old.
I have tuned the guitar down to E flat, without intonating it :/ could that be part of my problem..?
I have a guitar with a Ibanez lo pro edge. I really like the tremolo, but after a couple of dive bombs, the guitar is useless (more or less) Please help me! Would a tremsetter help?

Well... as I already mentioned on page one, except for his true vintage "I don't wanna mess with this" guitars, he actually uses medium-output humbucking single-coil replacements.

I have tried to tune my strat down to c, but for me it didnt work out really well (even with heavy strings) why dont you buy a baritone neck from warmoth?
