    not sure if this is possible, but if you could get a layer of chrome mylar under the clearcoat it would be just like a mirror

    ok i have had st anger for a few days now so here is MHO, after listening through a couple of times i've noticed there really are moments of brilliance on this album unfortunately almost every song has atleast 1 moment of utter shite take the song st anger for example, there's some really good stuff in that song but certain bits like that overdubbed "flush it out, flush it out!", "madly in anger with you!", and lars godawful snare really ruin it for me but to tell you the truth i can listen through the album and really enjoy it but there are still moments where i cringe the dvd is much better than the cd IMHO, sounds better, looks good, and although there are more mistakes(while singing...etc) it tends to let the old metallica sound(especially hetfields voice) shine through just my humble opinion how much did that cost me? ...2 cents?? :ph34r:

    if you were able to measure the most minute differences in tone even the slightest pickscratch would change the sound the point is where do you draw the line that you actually care???

    i agree it will change the tone BUT only minutely and it may even sound better, could go either way

    only midi cables and your good ol guitar leads (probably, depends on what model you actually get)

    some advice lgm gave me is you drill a small hole in the centre then stick a screwdriver in to pry it out

    holy ****!!! i never even considered how good a white, red, blue swirl would look!!!!

    you could put it in a vice with no protection that'd leave tiny toothmarks and dents :ph34r:

    if i was doing one i'd bang the edges really hard on different things the screwdriver would give you chips and scratches but no big ol' dents
