  7. still nobody has voted that they like the album in any way
  8. yeah, not necessary but some people like to do it and some people like to see it that's what i'm saying
  9. it's not that it's not good enough for the person though it's like smashing up a cool car to make an awesome scene in a movie
  10. the 'stars' do give away a lot of guitars but it can be fun to watch someone get 'crazy' in a song
  11. i see what your saying, that a guitar takes on personality and becomes like a person and i agree in a way but to me it's more like i'm pouring my soul into the guitar each time i play it and it becomes a part of me if i want it to it feels more like an extension of myself rather than another separate entity so to me i don't mind throwing around a guitar that isn't a 'part of myself' because it's just wood and metal(yes i think wood has a certain energy too but let's not get too deep) and if i want to throw a guitar that i feel is a part of myself that's ok cos there will always be other guitars that become a part of me we are constantly losing and gaining energy, it's a part of our lives however if i did something bad to a guitar i really really love, i'd definitely regret it i'm not saying anyone should or shouldn't do it this is just how i feel at this point in time
  12. LMAO!! wait til he sees this he'll be overjoyed i bet!!
  13. meanwhile, everyone else (Jackson, ESP, EB/MM, Peavey, Kramer etc.) seem to have done nicely without locking studs. I'm guessing that's why Ibanez got rid of them. they were over-engineered. it's not a stupid move, it's a smart move. we won't notice any difference in performance. at least I won't. then again, maybe you notice a difference in tuning stability between a Jackson SL1 and an Ibanez JEM7VWH? if there was no difference in performance there would be no problem and i agree with wes there's no such thing as overengineering there's a big difference ie. locking studs keep perfect tune non locking .....don't, many have found their guitars going out a quarter or half step or more! ibanez have a reputation for the best double locking trems in the world now with their new guitars they have become average how is this a smart move? they'll end up losing a lot of sales i love going crazy on a trem but i expect it to be able to keep in tune if it doesn't then that's what i call a performance difference just MHO though
  14. i'm with the greenman on this issue i'll never buy from ed roman.....too much risk
  15. I don't really have a problem with it throwing a guitar around makes for a great stage performance and if your getting free guitars why not? sure you're not gonna damage your favourites but why not a backup if it's your thing alchool, are you saying Vai and Hendrix don't REALLY love guitars?
  16. prices, i'm not exactly sure ask Rich at the site i linked to before and try the http://www.jemsite.com/ forum there's always some in the for sale section over there
  17. http://www.ibanezrules.com/namm/2003/trems.htm#REVIEW here's some really good info on the new edge pro trems and on replacing the studs the problem with the studs is that ibanez japan decided to downgrade to non locking studs IMHO an extremely stupid move just to save a little they have sacrificed ibanez's reputation for staying in tune perfectly and having really good trems all because of a little stud
  18. IBANEZ!! the edge and lo pro edge are probably the best trems ever if setup properly you can get away with murder and stay in tune the new ibanez edge pro trems are good too but you have to replace the studs to get the best outta them
