    I know i am only new but i think a benifit of the set neck over the bolt-on is the rounding you can do so it less in your was on upper frets

    Hi got abit of progress and should be cutting out the wings tomorrow yay Just marked out the shape and put it next 2 the maple looks pritty cool =) http://travisguitars.tagenmmorpg.com Edit: I also found the pick-ups i want for £80 (new) which is £70 cheaper then i was origionally going to spend so thats nice and easy on my wallet =)

    Looking good like how you put the line down the centre thats a really good idea because thats what always puts me off tops that have 2 halfs i just dont like the place where they meet but it looks alot cooler with the dividing line =)

    Not yet i was waiting to find someone with a bandsaw but i have a jig saw and my dad says if i get the right sort of blad for that i could use that but i would still need to use a bandsaw on the neck because of its width and how acurate it needs to be.
