  1. It would be the same for a Fender Strat trem. The specs they list in the instructions are normal trem cavity dimensions. I would not go less that 1.5" though.
  2. That is an interesting question. I will find out.
  3. Mark, you are going to need a set of pickups for that Tele you are going to build.
  4. Take a look at Trem King tremolos at http://www.tremking.com and if you like what you see send me a PM.
  5. PM me when you have more, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese. Cheers, Ralphie
  6. Greg, Take a look at Trem King at www.tremking.com and see if this one might foot the bill. The price point on these is around 112-140 depending on which one you order. Cheers, Ralph
  7. Could I buy one straight up from you? I have paypal. Cheers, Ralphie
  8. I would if they came with a Rocktron Prophesy II... I checked my parts box but couldn't find one!
  9. Well guys, I have been conducting some research on the Trem King tremolo for some time now and I think this tremolo is absolutely awesome so I became a dealer. I have them in stock. You can check them out at http://www.tremking.com/index.html and they have a VIDEO you have to see! They also have instillation instructions on the web site if you are curious. Pictures and Pricing below, PM or email me if interested. Price includes free shipping CONUS. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uuhlbkUkvGs Strat Trems: TK-1 The TK-1 is a drop in replacement for most vintage style tremolo units. Some routing inside the spring cavity may be needed on certain models. TK-1-CR: 111.97 TK-1-BK: 118.97 TK-1-GD: 125.97 Tele Trems: TK-2 This model is designed for guitars that have a slanted single coil pickup at the bridge that mounts to the bridge plate. The vibrato works exactly the same as the TK-1, but uses a different bridge plate. Routing of a spring cavity is necessary for installation of this unit. TK-2-CR: 125.97 TK-2-BK: 132.97 TK-2-GD: 139.97 Universal Trem: TK-3 This model is designed for other style solid-body guitars with no existing trem route. This model features a smaller footprint than traditional trems and requires LESS body routing than traditional trems. TK-3-CR: 118.97 TK-3-BK: 125.97 TK-3-GD: 132.97
  10. Would you trade it for a set of Tonerider pickups? Your choice.
  11. I have the new Rigid 4330 and I like it, but I have only had it a month so time will tell.
  12. I have 2 of the Dura Block 7004GMS and they come stock with a 1.0 tip. I bought the .8 and the 1.2 tips and they will spray stain, clear and flake with no problem at all.
  13. Bass wood for a neck would not hold up very well. I do not think it is rigid enough! JMHO
  14. I have purchased 50's and 60's period correct STrat bodied from B Hefner and they were awesome. It takes a couple weeks to get it but once you do you will be happy with it.
  15. Anything is possible but you would have a hell of a time getting intonation right!
  16. I buy most of my bodies and necks from those who make them in their garages. I get the same quality as Warmoth but without the cost and then there is the few I trade parts for wood huh Mark? If you build it, they will buy it as long as it is quality. I have even started to build my own bodies from scratch. Some I plan to paint with nitro and sell on ebay soon, so I hope there is a market out there for it because I am betting my retirement on it!
  17. I received some Tele pups and a set of Jazz bass and a set of Precision Bass pups if anyone is interested.
