  1. You must have missed this link at the bottom of his page...... Here Looks great! I like the unique look of the covering.
  2. OK DrummerDude.....I know your sig says your English is not the greatest but this forum will not tolerate the continued use of profanity. Please stop using it in every post you make or you will be sent on vacation. There are thousands of members here that can have a conversation without cursing....please respect them and do the same. Think of it this way....If you won't say it in front of your Grandma then don't say it here. If your Grandma lets you talk like that then you have more issues than we can deal with on PG......
  3. Don't fall out of your chair laughing at this......... I was watching and old John Denver concert on PBS the other night......yes, I am going to suggest some old Denver tunes. He had his 12 out for several songs and sounded great.....really. Problem is (for me anyway) I could never sing that high so I'd have to drop the music about 2 octaves to sing any of his stuff. I never realized how high his voice was before watching that show. Yikes!! Don't duck! I completely agree with that. I consider TP and John Mellencamp some of the best folk style guys since the 60's and 70's. Also try some Pink Floyd (most anything form The Wall) on a 12. Sounds great!
  4. Outstanding work as always David. Thanks for sharing!
  5. If I'm understanding your pic correctly I was adding (actually leaving) more material to the outside edge where your original curve was. I was trying to keep the flame tips you had cut but just made them a bit wider. Maybe I need a better program for drawing in...... EDIT: OK I fiddled with it some more and now it looks really crappy....but I think you can see what I mean now. See the pic above.
  6. That looks much better IMO. I would suggest only to keep the "bumps" on the top so the flames are wider.....know what I mean? I'd keep a little more off them on the bottom too but I couldn't get my mouse to draw that very well.... My artistic talent with a mouse leaves a lot to be desired.....give me a pencil and paper any day!!
  7. If you must act like this do it somewhere else.......consider this a warning. Now go read the Forum Rules" PG Rules Pay close attention to Rule #3.....Get It?
  8. I finally have some guitars and have them listed on eBay in my Store instead of my web site. I am selling many of them below Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) with Winter's permission (due to minor cosmetic blems) and have free shipping in thelower 48. Presence Guitars eBay PM or email me if you are interested in any of the one's I have listed. Overseas buyers let me know and we can work out some better shipping. I can break the bolt on necks down to save you some money on shipping. MANY MORE ARE ON THE WAY!!
  9. Man....another great & creative piece of work on PG!! That headstock reminds me of a pig nose and/or a hammer head. It also conjures up visions of Pink Floyd's "The Wall".....where all the hammers are marching.
  10. Topic Title changed...... Remember if you have a problem in a thread just click the "report thread" button, fill out the form and it goes to all the mods. Steve On topic.....I dig the body and would "pointy up" the HS a bit. Take a small bit out of the top center and do the flame licking thing across the top of the HS to make it match the body more. IMO it's too round for the body style.
  11. That's why he had me pull the listing last night. He said the Line 6 sounded great but he was afraid he would miss that Marshall sound. He keeps changing his mind back and forth so who knows what he'll end up with. We're going to Madison (the big city - woohoo) Saturday to play the Line 6 again and see if it's really what he wants.......I'll stick with my Ampeg thank you very much
  12. You'll have her fixed up in no time and be back at making guitars! I bet those neighbors are happy to see you move in and clean the place up too. A match will take care of that grass for you and save a bunch of mowing time
  13. Yeah it is a good price. I'm selling it for a friend who is convinced he needs the Line 6 350W head. He had me pull the listing last night until Saturday......guitar players!! He's going to play the line 6 one more time to make sure he likes it better than the Marshall and he can't do that until Saturday. If you're interested in it let me know and save me the $15 to relist it!
  14. You get the bridge, nut and 5 new tuners. The pic shows where you just add the 5th tuner to the existing headsock (Fender style) so you won't need a new neck. You will end up with string spacing that is closer than the 4. I would contact Hipshot and see just what the spacing is so you're not disappointed when you get the system mounted. If you can play guitar fingerstyle then it shouldn't be a problem to have your strings closer on your bass. The bridge pic they how actually doesn't look too close but I imagine on the nut end they will be closer than you're used to. Edit: I was thinking that the Fender 4 and 5 strings are pretty close in nut width (don't have the exact numbers on hand) so you may not really notice a difference at all.......
  15. Holy smokes! You can use all the extra cash to buy more Impaler parts!!
  16. Jeremy you said that better than most of us here in the States could have..... Beautiful ride!! Got me all teary eyed this morning too.....in a good way.
  17. So Matt...do you live in the shed on the right or the shed on the left I live in the middle of nowhere too and I love it! The older you get the more you appreciate the country/rural living thing. No neighbors means you can do most anything you want and there's nobody to complain about it. I live next to a cemetery....best neighbors I ever had. They keep the lawn mowed, the trees trimmed, they don't complain about my bass when I play it at 11 and they don't complain when I jump on my 4 wheeler and buzz around the property. They're so nice they don't complain about anything and they're quiet all the time and don't bother me at all!!
  18. Tell UPS that Two of mine were in hard shells with the headstock area padded to prevent breakage and they managed to drop them or throw them hard enough to break the headstock off anyway. Like I said before I'm just going with my experience here and that has taught me to loosen strings. They're your guitars, ship them how you want to and I'll ship mine the way I've learned doesn't cause damage for me. Your experiences may be different......
  19. I didn't say loosening them has anything to do with pressure, temperature or humidity....it has to do with the guitar getting tossed about by gorilla's in the baggage handling area. 100% of the guitars I have shipped with the strings loosened have arrived with the headstock and neck intact....over 1200 guitars and basses. 100% of the guitars I have shipped with the strings NOT loosened have arrived minus the headstock.....3 times I forgot to loosen them. I have also received two that had broken due to the strings remaining tight while shipping. When these get shipped from overseas they are packed 6 to a carton and a lot of cartons to a container. They are handled by material handling equipment and not subject to the human element of being tossed like a rag doll at the local UPS or airport terminal. A careless worker can easily toss one guitar hard enough to cause damage. Lifting a carton of 6 does not give you the same advantage. I know we could argue this all day as it has been argued for years but I'm going with what I know from experience.
  20. OK....we had a Non Paying Bidder on this one (I love eBay ) The Buy it Now is $899...........
  21. It has been done. Do a search here...you should find some info. Also do a Google search and you'll probably find some good links and pics. There was a thread here a while back with lots of info on bass trems.
  22. The pressurized cabin won't cause problems but the temperature and lack of humidity in the baggage compartment might. IMO it won't be permanent in any way but it could cause the neck wood to "move" and the guitar would have to reacclimate for a while before it was back to "normal". I see this often just shipping across the country. Truss rod adjustments are pretty common when I ship from cold dry Wisconsin in the winter to the southeast or southwest or when it's hot and humid here in the summer and I ship to a dry climate like Arizona, etc..... And I also would loosen the strings to prevent the headstock from snapping off. Baggage handlers are not known for their careful handling of baggage. EDIT: Funny....I was typing while you two were chatting. Good timing hey!
  23. I have it in my eBay store here: Marshall Head Footswitch is included but not shown in pics. Steve
  24. My go to bass was always my Epi LP bass until I got my Cirrus......now I have to say it's a toss up between the 2. The Cirrus is really growing on me. But, I did start my new project today and got my neck lam's glued up for my LightWave bass so I may have a new favorite in a month or so.
