that is absolutly beautiful brian! thats amazing!!! what paints did you use!!!!! PLEASE post a painting tutorial. that is one of my favorite fp custom jobs EVER tied with the pencil sketch FP LGM did!
let me define the punk genre in a simple formula.
overdriven guitar
loud ass bass.
loud ass drummer. (sometimes talented)
I-IV-V chord progression
choose key.
scream.
EDIT: the answer to your question. solid state amps are fine for a punk sound. anything with decent metal overdive is fine. and a humbucking guitar.
i was originally thinking a floyd for my strat. but tuningwise they annoy me. has anyone used a wilkenson trem? i heard it was great used as a hard tail and can dive bomb!!! JOY! anyone heard anything about it?
better yet try the links on www.projectguitar.com there are some truly helpful tutorials. In a sense both of you are right but i think we should let this just cool off... metal do some research and post with specific questions.
wow!!!! setch are those custom knobs?? please post more pics and a tutoial onhow to make. those are CRAZY! and I love the strat man! BTW what kind of binding is on that mother?
tracy morgan was talented. however tina fey and jimmy fallon suck big balls along with the rest of the cast. I havent seen the show in a few months but now that Morgan is gone i want to watch it even less.
i think snl is dead. its attrocious. all they do on that show is risque humur and retarded jokes. it used to be good. but i agree some of mad blows. I.E STEWART. I hate that skit
My name is Sam Fisher I am a hobby builder who is currently "debugging a carved top jem" building a neck thru archtop and making a solder top for a DC tele by cort. I am by no means a professional. I am skilled in soldering and wiring though.
i agree that is so true. If you learn the fretboard and then learn the names of the notes in the scales. lol you've got everything in the bag. unfortunaly i do not have the board memorized. it pisses me off. it is possibly the most important skill to have on guitar.
