bigdguitars
Cranked this out out this weekend... Going to paint it I think. Anyone ever use biglead maple for a body? Got a set of mij strat pickups that are going to go in here. I just sanded using those norton 3x sand paper and oh my, it sands like crazy. i have some 60 grit porter cable paper and then this new norton stuff and its really 3x better. Will buy more. I just bought that palisander rosewood neck so most likely will use that one on this guitar at least for now. -Derek

I love the sound of a rosewood bodied acoustic. I wonder what it does to the tone on a neck.......or is it just a rosewood fretboard?? I think there was a post a few weeks back about big leaf bodies......not too long ago if I recall correctly.
Curtis P
call me dumb, but the far left laminate looks like Cedar, well to me it does Curtis
Primal
Thats only a two piece body. What you think is cedar is just a darker part of wood. Just look closely at the grain and you will see.
