westhemann Posted July 4, 2003 Report Share Posted July 4, 2003 turn your truss rod clockwise about 1/4 turn at a time until the neck straightens up.make sure the strings are the right pitch and guage that you want first.remember you want a SLIGHT bow in the middle.it is called neck relief.also be careful if you have to straighten it alot.you don't want to strip the nut or the rod.
