thewrathofraf Posted June 1, 2005 Report Share Posted June 1, 2005 Hey all. I am starting to build my own 7 string guitar and i was wonderign the best places to get supplies for it. It is oversized and everything is out of the ordinary and i am having trouble finding parts for it. I need to know where to get everything from wood to knobs and 7-string stuff tends to be hard to come by. I plan on shaping it myself and i want it ot be neckthrough. thedoctor Posted June 3, 2005 Report Share Posted June 3, 2005 Start with a Carvin 7-string neck-through neck. I have bought a few of them and although a bit bland they kinda tell you what to do next. The last one I bought I had NO idea what to do with but that didn't last long.
