Gorecki
That suck's It must be the computer im on I really want to hear this thing im about to put in my Impaler !!METAL MATT!! ← Go ahead and right click the link you left earlier and 'Save Target As' to save the file to the desktop, then try and play it. The federal POS computer I'm using right now fails when clicking the link directly but saving the file locally solves it for me. Give'er a shot. !!METAL MATT!!
Ah YES!! It works Thanks Gorecki So what is it that the Varitone does? does it boost the signal from the pickup to change the sound? I would like to know more about how it work's and why! If some one could PM me so that we dont bog up the thread. !!METAL MATT!!
thegarehanman
I think it's just a rotary switch with different capacitors
bigdguitars
There is a choke control on it too to filter the sound a little different than just a cap in line. A varitone is like a color filter. It allows some colors through and others are filtered out.
bigdguitars
you know I emailed this to the other forum that is out there, I got a response that was really sad. Oh well. Buy a switch, this is a deal, it normally sells for 35 bucks, you pay a little more cause its worth it. I made 18 tonight, time for bed.
