A friend of mine is asking me to build him a bass guitar so i thought i would follow it up. He likes SG's.. thought i'd base (bass.. hilarious).. it on the SG! your thoughts? cheers guys... My only suggestion would be that, depending on what combination of woods you use you could easily wind up with some neck dive. One thing Ithink that the shape is way off, even if it is an SG bass(ed) bass!!! I would rather take a look at the Viper (ESP) since I think it is the best looking SG shaped guitar out there! Maybe you should extend the horns a bit, because they seem too small for the body.
