weaponepsilon
I wasn't sure exactly where to put this and I know this is a dumb question but... I have a LP neck that has a slight yellowing of the binding problem near the headstock. I assume that using thinner or something should correct this problem. Any ideas? Primal
Its the way of life for white binding...
Mattia
Leave it alone. Guitars age. Binding yellows. Nitro finishes yellow, shrink, check and crack (they're checmically pretty unstable, after all). Learn to love the character it provides. Guitarfrenzy
Nitro turns yellow over time, which isn't a bad thing. It actually gives you the classic vintage look that most are looking for in the first place. Like Mattia said, I'd leave it alone...
erikbojerik
The yellowing may be faster in that area if it is an area that gets a lot of hand action (e.g. sweat). Part of the vint-aging process.
