Ar-Pharazon
Sorry for two posts in one hour, but I had to show off the upgrade of my BC Rich Bich NJ... was originally-hard tailed so improvements are emg 81s and an old floyd... Sanded back the horrible white paint (was originally house paint when I bought it), and got my brother to burn in two celtic dragons... also scalloped 21-24 frets but it was my first go ever, so they are a bit deep was done about a year ago, but I haven't had a camera till now to show it off... http://www.imagebucket.net/images/arpharazon/458365455l.jpg http://www.imagebucket.net/images/arpharazon/bcrich.jpg Edited February 13, 2006 by Ar-Pharazon
Slabbefusk
Shouldn't the Floyd be parrallell to the body or haven't you set it up yet?

american_jesus
and got my brother to burn in two celtic dragons that should answer ^^ question. that thing is pretty nice looking. like the whole vibe of the celtic dragons and natural finish. but you might wanna set up your floyd to parallel with the body... Ar-Pharazon
"Shouldn't the Floyd be parallell to the body or haven't you set it up yet?" Yeah, got the local guitar shop to set it up and got it back like that... won't be doing that again
Druss
I like woodgrain way more than a paint job and your brother did a fine burn job for you. Just curious how many wood burner tips did he go through? I had a friend do some burning for me on a bass http://projectguitar.ibforums.com/index.ph...topic=15615&hl= He went through so many tips we had to start making our own, we ground the heads of screws down to a point and used them. SoundAt11
Very cool, the dragon's really complement the body shape well and again, awesome knobs, like dragon eyes.

I actually don't know what he used... I think they may have been similar to a simple soldering iron type tip as the lines are not uniform in width...
