Looking For A Good Satin Acrylic Lacquer Rattlecan

I'd like to use acrylic as a clear coat on a project, but I may have to go with DEFT (nitro) if I can't find a decent satin acrylic lacquer.

duplicolor may produce a satin clear, check them out

I know they make a gloss...actually used it with some success on a car. It doesn't appear that they make a satin though.

Stay away from Duplicolor. I have heard horror stories, merely because their paint is too soft, once cured. There has to be better options, out there.

In Canada it's available at Home Hardware and Rona, not sure if that helps ya cause I don't know where you are.

You should try minwax poly satin. I've had good results with it. You can find it at Home Depot. (and it's dirt cheap, like $3 a can)
