canuckguitarist Posted September 2, 2003 Report Share Posted September 2, 2003 The actual pots aren't that hard to hook up....nor are they expensive...maybe $4 bucks, plus a knob which is probably another $2. Thats only $6 more onto the total cost of your guitar...which you will hopefully be able to play the rest of your life...so....spend the extra $6 its worth it. westhemann Posted September 2, 2003 Report Share Posted September 2, 2003 keep in mind that it really sucks to not be able to turn the guitar off between songs to talk.i would say a volume knob is a must have.but yes of course it can be done.hot wire to one connector on the jack,ground wire to other,connect ground to bridge.done!
