I've been reading the forums and wanted to stop in here to say hello and introduce myself. My name is Vinny and I've been playing guitar on and off for about 20 yrs. My building experience is limited to sanding down and re-finishing my Flying Vee copy many years ago (still have it) and building a 24'' scale replica of my white Explorer, that was really a fun project because at the time I was working with my brother making cabinets and had access to all his equipment. As far as work, by day I work in a car dealership selling parts and nights/weekends are spent with my family and running my home-based graphics shop. So I got the fever to build a guitar recently and found a vast amount of info on the web with builders posting pictures of their projects and I was hooked. I make wood signs on occasion so I already own a few woodworking tools, I figure I'll let the guitar buy the tools as I need them. I really dig archtops and have already ordered the Benedetto book to educate myself on the subject. You guys have really got a cool place here and I hope I can add something here or there. -Vinny
