TeiscosRock
Cool beans. It may get old for alot of people, but I always like seeing 5150 versions of guitars. And I'm not even an Eddie fan! Edited April 11, 2006 by Maiden69
yorgo
yeah I know what mean about it getting old. I kind of felt a little of that especially since he isn't the idol he once was to me, but since I was twelve I wanted this, so now that I can..... Why not ya know? Craig
Excellent job! What kind of finish did you use? I'm currently researching the finishing process and I have no idea what to use. Not even sure on what I want the final paint job to be, or color. I'd like something unique though.
Slabbefusk
Yeah! I've always wanted to see a 5150 finish on an Ibanez!

I'm using Krylon interior/exterior paints. It's an acrylic lacquer. Nice paint to work with. I bought a book from "paint your own guitar" and he gives the basics pitfalls to stay away from with very easy to understand methods and techniques. So far so good. I'll more pics up soon. I've taken the tape off and it looks great with some minor issues. Last I've remasked the whole body to put in the lack lines and tonight I spray the black. I'll have them soon. Hunter
I would love to see some strange colored EVH Stripe guitar, something like Blue and White or something interesting. Anyway, this looks cool. I can't wait to see it with clear on it.
