Daniel Sorbera
At your local hardware store (ace, homedepot, lowes etc) Just ask for a paint strainer. It's a paper funnel that has a mesh in the bottom that the paint strains through. Edited May 27, 2006 by Godin SD
mikhailgtrski
also will 1 quart be enought to do color coats and clear? I haven't used the waterbased stuff, but my guess is you won't be able to get enough good, level film build with just one quart. I've used nearly two quarts of Behlen's nitro (technically four, since I'm thinning it 1:1, it's not the ready-to-spray instrument lacquer) and I'm just now getting to the last couple of coats (neck and body). Of course, a fair amount (possibly 40-50%) was wasted in experiments and overspray. Learning curve and such. +1 on the strainer, that's exactly what I'm using. Get a couple packs of them. thegarehanman
Normally when you buy paint, or anything for that matter, at an automotive paint supply store, they'll throw a stack of filters and graduated plastic cups in your bag for free. I have way more of those little filters than I imagine I'll ever use.
Mattia
+1 I found a great supplier of 'nonpaint' articles here in NL. I have a lifetime supply of the darn things now, sell them by the 100.
