Really a drag since it's such a cool site. As far as Marley all I can find is this which says he used a Guild 12-stringer but nothing about amps: http://www.getthatsound.com/song%20pages/B...-this-love.html I wouldn't be surprised if he just used whatever was at the studio he recorded in at the time. rob Posted September 3, 2006 Report Share Posted September 3, 2006 he used fender silver faced twins! on a slighty related note, apparantly Steve Jones, of sex pistols fame, "got" his silver faced from Bob Marley, but his had guass speakers in.... Silver face refers to the era of late 60's/70's. When fender got taken over by CBS, they made cost cuts, hence why sliver faced twins are less desirable than the black faced ones, but there are mods to bring a silver face to black face specs.
