MP63
I'm looking for the best glue to glue binding to the fretboard AND the frets. Gibson style. Gibson responded saying that it was a trade secret. That I can understand. I worked for a company years ago, and they used a milky liquid that was very fluid. Never knew what it was. They applied the same style of binding as Gibson. The binding was contoured for the frets and not the frets on the binding as is common. Who's done it before and what did you use? The Weld-It #16 doesn't hole to the fret metal too good. Opnions? Thank you, Mike

MP63
Instead of binding the fretboard and fretting on top of the binding (fret tang removed to allow for binding), the fret ends are filed against the fretboard and the binding glued to the fretboard. The binding is then scraped keeping the profile of the frets. Just Llke the Les Pauls. Mike
