I was born and raised in a small town outside of St. Louis, MO, moved to the Chicago area when I was 20, and have been living here for the last 15 years. I've been playing for about 22 years (though you can't tell... ). I've been setting up my own guitars/replacing electronics, pickups, etc. for about the last 5 years. I built a strat a couple years ago from parts I had around and some I got from eBay - painted it and all. Turned out okay - so lately I've been addicted to messing with my guitars more and more...
