sonicsson
Hello lads, I have done some research and I need your confirmation/comments etc Fender quitars (even the Squirers) sound like 'the' guitar- like the bible being 'the' book (analogy) Washburn guitars sound like 'a' guitar but aristocratic. Hohner guitars sound like 'a' guitar. The 3 were my subjects tested. I have a feeling Leo Fender (Fender creator) had in his task list the idea to make an ultimate guitar sound-wise, body etc. Lads please help me out on this topic Thanks in advance

Ben
Seriously; what? I've never heard the word 'aristocratic' to describe sound before

ceve4life
I disagree with your guitar ranking system or whatever you're trying to say. Guitars should be your opinion by whats considered holy and not a finalized remark.

fryovanni
I see what you are saying. Fender is "the" guitar. It certainly sounds nothing like "other" guitars. I once had "a" guitar that sounded similar but different. My specific goal as a luthier is to build "that" guitar. Unfortunately that road to the perfect guitar is littered with "them" guitars that did not quite measure up to my expectations. Primal
And to think I always thought Leo Fender's goal was to make a cheap, easy to churn out guitar for the masses... Oh, and you know that Leo Fender wasn't actually a guitarists when he started in the biz, right?
