Maxim Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 (edited) I noticed alot of neck aren't painted, is it some kind of obvious reason I'm missing? I want to paint my neck completely black, everything except for the metal frets I want to get it black and shiny like the old ESPs, anyone know how I can achieve this? biliousfrog Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 maple necks are painted all over, usually with clear laquer so it shouldn't be a problem....it was quite common to have painted necks/fingerboards on hair-metal guitars in the 80's. Dean do these: http://www.deanguitars.com/custom.htm Quote
