CrazyManAndy
Hey rjhalsey, I see you a lot on the Reranch forum, but I didn't know you were over here. Anyway, I've been debating over pickups for my Tele build. I'll likely go with Tonerider's, but I'm not sure about which set. The pickup combo will look like this: (Bridge: Tele Bridge) (Middle: P90) (Neck: Tele neck) I'm debating on which Tele set to get. What is your opinion of each? Thanks, CMA

CrazyManAndy
I think you kind of answered my question already over at the ReRanch forums, but I'm still not sure. For some reason, I'm just super hesitant about getting hot pickups. I really like the very open sound of vintage spec pickups. Do you know what the resistances (and any other useful specs) are for the Hybrid P90s, both bridge and neck? marksound
I'd like to jump in here and say that if you haven't tried the Strat sets, you don't know what you're missing. They're absolutely the best value for vintage style Strat pickups. I have the Classic Blues set in one of my Strats and it pretty much nails the mid-60s tone. Tons of sparkle, they'll quack and cluck, they'll even snort like a pig if you're into that.
