Rick500 Posted June 7, 2007 Report Share Posted June 7, 2007 Not really off-topic, but closely related: I'm getting pretty close to completing my Strat project (it's ribbon mahogany; looks very close to killemall8's mahogany in the pic above), and thinking about Tru-Oil. Given that it's mahogany, I'm thinking about using a dark brown grain filler of some sort before oiling it. Any suggestions on what to use as filler? (I know there are a lot of suggestions on the board here, but specifically with mahogany and a Tru-Oil finish, any specific thoughts?)
