killemall8 Posted March 7, 2008 Report Share Posted March 7, 2008 rout out the inlays. but you will have to refret it. no, there is no way around that. you can get the inlays here in the colors it shows: inlays that is going to be your best bet. ihocky2 Posted March 9, 2008 Report Share Posted March 9, 2008 You don't have to refret, it is not that hard to do without removing the frets, it just takes a little more patience. Here is a link to one changing from MOTO to Mother of Pearl on a Jackson. You would do the same basic idea, except different shapes and using a few other techniques.
