Wierd. It might be that you didnt completely cover the back with white and that some of the wood coming through is making it look pink.

Do you have any pictures?

what wood is underneath the white?

sometimes oily woods can discolour the white as i found out on a guitar i did with a white headstock recently. i sprayed it over some rosewood and it turned a funny colour within a few days

ash body -sanding sealer -grey primer-white paint and nitro lacquer ..the pink is in the lacquer i sanded it back to the paint which was fine and started to spray the lacquer on again seems like when the lacquer starts getting on heavy spots its turns pink i was wondering if i could add another coat of white paint or maybe get something to keep this project going ahead cause thereis almost enough coats of lacquer on the guitar about 3 or 4 more
