svartberg Posted September 26, 2008 Report Posted September 26, 2008 How to get a color like this? its a Ran guitars guitar, i realy like this color and i might paint my next Randy V like this... Quote
ihocky2 Posted September 26, 2008 Report Posted September 26, 2008 Not the greatest picture to show the color, so I am guessing that it is gun metal grey. If you are using spray cans I would check out Dupli-Color or PlastiKote and see if they make that color. Or check out Alsa Corp, they make 2-part poly in rattle cans, but it is expensive, and you'll need to stick with their system from start to finish. If you have a compressor and spray gun, find your nearest Dupont or PPG dealer, I'm sure they have a paint code for gun metal grey and can mix it for you. Quote
syxxstring Posted September 26, 2008 Report Posted September 26, 2008 It looks like a low to medium gloss black to me. Either a flattened single stage black or maybe even a black sealer that is catalyzed if you have spraygun. If your rattle canning it, just look for a flat black. Make sure all your prep work is perfect first... Quote
