Page_Master
hi everybody i can truly say i have never ever seen a Gent Saw in shop in my whole life. so are they specifically made for cutting fret slots? i have seen coping saws, junior hack saws and the sort at the hardware shop. i also have seen these tiny blades for a tool called a fret saws. guitar frets, i don't know. so what could i use as an alternative if i can't get a gents saw? Brian
The biggest key is stability when sawing downward and also the thickness of the cut itself, I've used an Exacto brand saw blade before which worked fine but the cut was thinner then needed so I had to finesse it some. Ask around your local Hobby shop and see if they have something like it.
