WezV Posted April 20, 2010 Author Report Share Posted April 20, 2010 just got this lefty re body together for a test fit jobs left: New nut Wiring Backplate Set-up so should finally be done soon changed a bit since the first post of this thread I had a few issues with the veneer top and it was all too heavy anyway, customer (mate) didnt mind, i did! - so its had a complete rework. thinned it down, swiss cheesed the body and replaced the top with a 3 piece 3.5mm thick macasser ebony cap which is much nicer than the veneer was ever going to be Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You are not afraid to add color to burled or spalted woods. Everyone screams when people do it because they think it should be left natural. But I love the look this gets with the blue on it.
