The countersunk switch collar is a yummy detail! Which makes me wonder why you didn't follow the theme with the tuners on the top side...

All in all she's a pretty example of tidy craftmanship. 👍

Agreed. Conceptually, the instrument is consistent and well thought-out. The tuner choice works with the headstock with enough minimalism to make sense, with a balance of detail such as the oval baseplates against a relatively straight-sided headstock shape. Everything works very nicely.

That’s recess is actually a through hole. A result of mounting electronics on a plate. I would have rounded or beveled the edges a tiny bit but since the hole was drilled after shellac went in I didn’t. Shellac finish can be spot repaired and I might just do that one sunny day. Or two as the spot repair is not always a walk in the park.
