Asomodai Posted January 14, 2004 Report Share Posted January 14, 2004 Hey gang, i have just purchased a washburn route 24 that has been routed for a washburn wonderbar trem, thing is i have a gibson spaced gold model of the wonderbar, would the nut width be right for this spaced trem? if not, can i get the neck modified to accept whatever nut width it needs to be, or would i be better off making a new neck? thanks. rob Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
krazyderek Posted January 14, 2004 Report Share Posted January 14, 2004 nut width has relatively nothing to do with the bridge, if i get what you mean, you're keeping the existing nut on the guitar and putting a narrower bridge on the guitar??? if so the only prob you'll have is the polepeices on the pickups might night line up perfectly anymore, and you'll have a little extra room on the side of the fingerboard as you go up the neck getting closer to the body.
