Hey gang, i have just purchased a washburn route 24 that has been routed for a washburn wonderbar trem, thing is i have a gibson spaced gold model of the wonderbar, would the nut width be right for this spaced trem? if not, can i get the neck modified to accept whatever nut width it needs to be, or would i be better off making a new neck?

thanks. rob

nut width has relatively nothing to do with the bridge, if i get what you mean, you're keeping the existing nut on the guitar and putting a narrower bridge on the guitar??? if so the only prob you'll have is the polepeices on the pickups might night line up perfectly anymore, and you'll have a little extra room on the side of the fingerboard as you go up the neck getting closer to the body.
