krazyderek Posted January 23, 2004 Report Share Posted January 23, 2004 whoa... how would you use it though? it's wide enough to be a couple of tops of 2 solid body, but the grain is tilted, if you ripped it up the middle, and flipped one peice over to get a symetrical grain direction you might not have a wide enough peice after jointing yada yada.... well actually... 13.5"..... it's probably just right.... but i'd be tight... i'd have 2 sets of top&backs for a guitar, so you'd get 2 guitars with figured fronts and backs.. it's sweet lookin but 122$ ouch...... and there's still 3 days to go Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I still haven't had anything done with it yet tho...just another future project, it will wind up being a carved top at some point. PS, he's a nice guy and will re-saw for you before shipping, FWIW.
