Southpa Posted February 16, 2004 Report Posted February 16, 2004 Even tho I don't actively post on MIMF anymore, I still browse around a little. I think this guitar is what we are all striving for in our building endeavors. Cudos to the builder, John Catto. Must've cost an arm and a leg tho. Quote
tsl602000 Posted February 16, 2004 Report Posted February 16, 2004 I think this guitar is what we are all striving for in our building endeavors Speak for yourself my friend... Although I do appreciate the work and craftsmanship, I think it's an ugly guitar that I'd never ever fancy to build.... Quote
IbanezIceman Posted February 16, 2004 Report Posted February 16, 2004 Yup...amazing craftsmanship there... Kudos to the guy! But each to our own - this is what I currently strive for: Let's see more pics of you people's dream guitars at the moment.... Quote
jbkim Posted February 16, 2004 Report Posted February 16, 2004 Heh, heh . Yeah, not my thing... but then I'm a minimalist steinberger spam . Hmm... I think that's the same guitar mentioned here. Quote
Southpa Posted February 16, 2004 Author Report Posted February 16, 2004 OOps, sorry! Didn't even notice that thread. This thread can be dumped. Quote
Lex Luthier Posted February 16, 2004 Report Posted February 16, 2004 What Tsl said. Nice guitar though. Quote
westhemann Posted February 16, 2004 Report Posted February 16, 2004 right up my alley ,though...i love metal work(the realstuff, not the crap i do),guitars, and the middle ages fascinate me...and that guitar does it all Quote
Lex Luthier Posted February 17, 2004 Report Posted February 17, 2004 I think this guitar is what we are all striving for in our building endeavors. This is what I am striving for: Quote
GuitarMaestro Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 I agree with tsl: The craftmanship is amazing but the guitar is very ugly in my eyes. I would not want to play it for a test, even if it would stand here in my room. It looks much too heavy and kinda like one of those engraved old metal plates for food and not like a sexy guitar.
