woodfab
I've done woodworking since I was 8, and about 15 years ago a friend showed me his set of scrapers. I was familiar with paint scrapers but not with scrapers for shaping and smoothing. Wow they're such a great tool. What do you think about them? I do most of my neck shaping with them. MiKro
Before I went to CNC, I used scrappers all of the time. I still do when they are needed. One of the best tools in the woodworking world. MK
Bizman62
Absolutely! A well sharpened scraper is both gentle and effective. In our workshop the card scrapers are cut into half and I recently learned the reason why: The narrower ones are easier to bend when removing material.
